How iPhone Hold’em Works
If you have played Texas Hold’em poker before, then you will be happy to know that iPhone Poker Hold’em is played in a very similar manner. The game consists of a single poker table with the dealer situated at the top of the table and the player at that the bottom. At the centre of the table, there is a section for the ante bet as well as the call bet. The cards are dealt in the centre of the table for both the dealer and the player. The game beings with the player placing the ante bet. This can be done by tapping on any of the chips at the bottom of the screen and then swiping them into the ante betting area.
Placing the Ante Bet
In iPhone Poker Hold’em, once the player has placed the ante bet, the dealer will deal the player two cards faced down and himself two cards faced down. These are called the hole cards. Once the hole cards have been dealt, the dealer will then deal three cards in the middle of the table. This is called the flop. These community cards can be used by either the dealer or the player to complete a winning poker hand. The aim of casino Holde’m poker is to create the best poker hand possible using the cards that you have been dealt with the addition of the community cards.
Winning a Hand
After the flop has been dealt in iPhone Poker Hold’em, player can choose to fold or to call. If players feel they have a weak hand, they can fold their hand and lose their ante bet. If players feel they have a strong hand, they can place a call bet and carry on with the game. The call bet is double the ante bet. If players choose to call, the dealer will then deal another community card on the table, this is called the turn. Players can choose to call or to fold after the turn has been dealt. If players want to continue with their hand, the final card is placed in the community card area making a total of 5. This is called the river. Once the river has been dealt, the dealer will flip his two cards and see if he can beat the players score. In iPhone Poker Hold’em, the dealer has to qualify with a pair of 4’s or higher.
